Itanagar, Dec. 7 -- The official name of Raj Bhavan, Arunachal Pradesh has been changed to "Lok Bhavan, Arunachal Pradesh", as per a notification issued by the Governor's Secretariat.
The decision to this effect was taken in pursuance of a communication from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, and as per the direction of the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh. The notification was issued on December 2, 2025.
From now on, the new nomenclature "Lok Bhavan" shall be used in all official communications, records, signage, digital platforms, stationery and other references related to the Governor's establishment.
