Itanagar, Feb. 7 -- Arunachal Pradesh's Banderdewa Police seized narcotic substances during a routine check at the Banderdewa check gate on Friday and arrested one person in connection with the case, a senior officer said on Saturday.
The accused has been identified as Rupam Kakoti (30), a resident of Chessa under Bihpuria police station in Assam.
Naharlagun SP Dr Nyelam Nega said that acting on specific intelligence, a police team intercepted a white Mahindra Bolero (AR-01-U-1969) travelling from Assam towards Arunachal Pradesh.
