Itanagar, Jan. 27 -- Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik has proposed leveraging the Indian Air Force's Air Traffic Control (ATC) infrastructure to facilitate civilian helicopter services, thereby improving connectivity in remote areas of the landlocked hilly state.
He also underscored the importance of activating the Advanced Landing Grounds (ALGs) in the state to their full potential, ensuring their optimal utilization for both the Armed Forces and the civilian population, which in turn will boost the tourism sector.
