In his message, the Governor said that Durga Puja celebrates the victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasura, a timeless reminder that courage, righteousness and truth always triumph over arrogance and evil. The festival also highlights the divine strength of women and their role as protectors, nurturers, and creators of life.
