Itanagar, July 11 -- Emphasising the importance of promoting rural entrepreneurship, Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik called for the establishment of dedicated SHG Product Marketing Hubs in major towns across the state, including Itanagar, Ziro, Tezu, Pasighat, Namsai, Aalo, Bomdila, and Tawang.
"The Government can provide the infrastructure, but the leadership and ownership must come from the SHGs themselves. These hubs must evolve into vibrant SHG Bazaars - windows into the creativity and strength of our rural women," stated the Governor while interacting with Self-Help Group members at a special event at Raj Bhavan here today.
