Itanagar, April 29 -- Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik has advised the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) to integrate a community-centric model into its project implementation strategy. The Governor underscored the importance of establishing model villages in project-affected areas, equipped with essential facilities such as schools, healthcare centres, community halls, and local markets. This approach, he noted, would be more sustainable and meaningful than monetary compensation.
