Itanagar, May 27 -- Arunachal Pradesh is all set to launch the Government of India's flagship initiative, Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan (VKSA), a nationwide pre-Kharif campaign scheduled from May 29 to June 12 next.

The campaign, spearheaded by Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan, seeks to connect directly with farming communities, especially in challenging agro-climatic zones, to promote awareness, inclusivity, and innovation in agriculture.

In Arunachal Pradesh, the campaign will be led by ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI), Zone VI, which will coordinate outreach activities across 1,383 villages, targeting nearly three lakh farmers, particularly in tribal belts and cl...
