Itanagar, Dec. 18 -- Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Thursday conducted a comprehensive review of the status of major and small hydropower projects in the state, as part of the government's ongoing efforts to revitalise the hydropower sector and strengthen the state's long-term energy roadmap.
During the review, the Deputy Chief Minister assessed the progress of several major hydropower projects, including Tawang I and II, Etalin, Demwe Lower, Naying, Kalai I and II, Hutong, Subansiri Upper, Kamala, and the Siang Upper Multipurpose Project.
The exercise focused on identifying bottlenecks, expediting clearances and ensuring timely, responsible and sustainable execution.
