Itanagar, Dec. 22 -- Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Monday welcomed a delegation of international scholars and researchers specialising in indigenous cultures and traditions at the Centre for Tai Khamti Language and Folk Culture, Chongkham in Namsai district.

The visiting scholars came from the US, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka, reflecting the growing global interest in Arunachal Pradesh's indigenous knowledge system and cultural heritage. The delegation was led by Vijay Swami, Executive Director of RIWATCH.
