Itanagar, Jan. 3 -- : Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein visited the Hump, World War II Museum at Pasighat on Saturday along with former Chief Minister Mukut Mithi and several MLAs. The visit underscored the state government's continued commitment to preserving Arunachal Pradesh's rich wartime history and promoting heritage tourism.

During the visit, the Deputy Chief Minister lauded Mebo MLA Oken Tayeng for his visionary initiative in establishing the museum. He stated that the Hump Museum plays a crucial role in conserving invaluable World War II artefacts, including remnants of aircraft that crashed in the region during the war.
