Itanagar, Jan. 15 -- Emphasising the importance of preserving linguistic and cultural heritage, Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein stressed the need to strengthen the teaching of the Pali language and local scripts, particularly the Tai Khamti script. He encouraged Pali Vidyapeeth, Chongkham to incorporate local language education into its academic curriculum.
Mein was addressing a gathering on Thursday after inaugurating the newly constructed 60-bedded hostel building at Pali Vidyapeeth, Chongkham. He lauded the institution for its role in promoting education, cultural harmony and inclusive learning.
