Itanagar, Dec. 31 -- In a breakthrough under Operation Dawn 2.0, West Siang Police cracked down on drug trafficking with the arrest of a key suspect and recovery of suspected heroin from Namsai district.
The development comes in continuation of the investigation into an Aalo police station case under Section 21(a) of the NDPS Act.
Following sustained investigation and actionable intelligence, police traced the source of narcotic procurement to Namsai, marking a major expansion of the probe beyond the initial arrests made in Aalo, a senior officer said on Wednesday.
