Itanagar, Aug. 10 -- The Arunachal Pradesh unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday kicked off its week-long 79th Independence Day celebrations with the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" tree plantation programme at the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Northeast Frontier Headquarters, Itanagar.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the ITBP personnel, including Assistant Commandant Kamal Kumar. Led by State BJP secretary-cum-convenor Lori Mugli, the programme was attended by state office bearers, newly appointed Morcha heads, party karyakartas, and IMC Corporators.
