Itanagar, Jan. 9 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Arunachal Pradesh, has officially announced its candidates for Mayor and Deputy Mayor of the Itanagar Municipal Corporation for the 2026-30 term.
As per an order issued by the BJP State Election Committee, Arunachal Pradesh, and signed by party's State President Kaling Moyong, newly-elected Corporator from Ward No. 16, Likha Nari Tadar, has been approved as the party's official candidate for the post of Mayor, while Tok Tabin Camdir (Ward No. 19) has been nominated as the candidate for Deputy Mayor.
