Itanagar, May 27 -- The Rules Committee of the 8th Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly held its first sitting on Tuesday under the Chairmanship of Speaker Tesam Pongte, who also serves as the Chairman of the Committee.
The meeting focused on reviewing the Comprehensive Study Book of Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business of the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
During the sitting, members engaged in detailed deliberations and proposed a series of amendments aimed at making the legislative rules more practical, comprehensible, and effective. The suggested changes include the inclusion of relevant clauses and the removal of provisions deemed outdated or impractical.
