Itanagar, June 19 -- In a tragic turn of events, a 22-year-old labourer, Prabash Doley, was found murdered last night near an under-construction building close to the Bharat Petroleum outlet at Saturday Market, Chimpu.
The victim, a resident of Misamora village, Dhemaji district (Assam), was temporarily staying in Sood Village, Naharlagun.
Following a complaint lodged by the victim's uncle, a case (No. 38/2025) under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) was registered at Chimpu Police Station. A police team led by senior officers recovered the body from a roadside drain near the crime scene.
