Itanagar, Feb. 5 -- Yeksi village in Siang district, Arunachal Pradesh, was formally declared a Localised Sustainable Development Goal (LSDG) Village on Thursday, with the theme "Enhanced Livelihood and Poverty-Free Village", marking a significant step towards grassroots development and community-led economic empowerment.
The programme was inaugurated by Siang Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu in the presence of Zilla Parishad Chairperson Tamat Tatak, Director, Panchayati Raj, Tajing Jonnom, ADC, Pangin, Gamtum Padu, CO-cum-Member Secretary Niyang Pertin, along with PRI members, Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and villagers.
