Itanagar, Dec. 10 -- Exhibiting prompt and courageous response, the Naharlagun Police was able to avert a potential tragedy on Wednesday by rescuing a juvenile who attempted suicide in Naharlagun's G-Extension area.
The incident occurred around 12 pm when Naharlagun Police Station received information that a youth, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, was creating a nuisance at home and had attempted to assault his parents. A team led by Officer-in-Charge Inspector K Dev- comprising SI Nabam Tatung, head constable Punyo Tari, and constables Tame Dada, Sanu Raj T, and Debojit Borah- immediately rushed to the spot.
