Itanagar, March 21 -- In a breakthrough, the Capital Police has successfully dismantled an inter-state drug trafficking network operating in Chimpu near here, leading to the arrest of two peddlers and the seizure of 60.4 grams of suspected heroin, along with Rs 40,000 in cash.

Itanagar SP Rohit Rajbir Singh said that acting on credible intelligence, a police team led by SDPO Kengo Dirchi, along with Officer-in-Charge of Itanagar PS Vivek Maurya, Chimpu PS OC U Vibu Krishna, SI Tamo Bakhang, and the Chimpu PS team, launched a swift operation on March 20.
