Itanagar, Jan. 29 -- In a significant step towards transforming Arunachal Pradesh's Anini into a premium and eco-conscious tourist destination, local MLA cum Advisor to the Minister for Tourism, Mopi Mihu, on Thursday unveiled a statue of the endangered Mishmi Takin at the heart of Anini town.
The statue was unveiled in the presence of Dibang Valley Deputy Commissioner Bekir Nyorak, Superintendent of Police Ringu Ngupok, Sub-Divisional Officer Lijum Ete, former Zilla Parishad Chairperson Theko Tayu, and District Tourism Officer Lamwang Aran, among other officials.
