Itanagar, May 20 -- Students of the Film and Television Institute (FTI), Arunachal Pradesh have launched an indefinite academic strike from May 15, citing "continued neglect, unsafe living conditions, and broken administrative promises".

As the first batch of students at the newly established national-level institute, they allege they have been left to navigate a campus that lacks even the most basic infrastructure, despite being under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.
