Itanagar, April 25 -- Continuing its fight against drug menace, the Arunachal Pradesh Police have arrested a peddler and recovered 4.174 kg of suspected cannabis (Ganja) from his possession, Lower Subansiri District SP Keni Bagra said on Friday.
He said acting on a tip-off regarding the presence of a drug peddler in Old Ziro, a police team immediately left for the location.
During vigilant patrolling near Kudung Burang area, Old Ziro, and following lead from the reliable source, the team located the quarter where the peddling operation was being executed, and arrested the alleged accused, Dunik Lokar (23).
Later, a thorough search was conducted and the team recovered bin bags which contained suspected cannabis, weighing 4.174 kg. It was ...
