Itanagar, March 14 -- A delivery boy of an e-commerce company was arrested in Arunachal Pradesh's East Siang district on charges of raping and impregnating a minor girl of Oyan market, officials said on Thursday.
The accused has been identified as Sunny Jerang (34), East Siang SP Sachin Kumar Singhal said.
Following receipt of a written complaint on Tuesday regarding rape & impregnation of a minor girl of Oyan market in East Siang district by one Flipkart delivery boy, the SP said, a case was registered at the Women Police Station, Pasighat under Section 376(2)(n)(3) of Indian Penal Code read with Sec 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
