Itanagar, Oct. 22 -- The Adi Baane Kebang Youth Wing (ABKYW), the apex youth organisation of the Adi community, has issued a strong call to the State Election Commission of Arunachal Pradesh to immediately implement the Gazette Notification transferring the administrative and Panchayat jurisdiction of Depi, Depi-Moli, Detak, Sido, and Korang villages from Lower Siang district to East Siang district.
In a memorandum submitted to the State Election Commissioner, ABKYW expressed deep concern that although the government had officially notified the administrative transfer of these villages, their Panchayat jurisdiction still remains under the old setup.
"The villagers of Depi, Depi-Moli, Detak, Sido, and Korang feel there is no justification ...
