Itanagar, Feb. 25 -- In a major breakthrough against drug trafficking, Arunachal Pradesh's Banderdewa Police successfully intercepted a narcotics smuggling attempt, seizing 150.70 grams of suspected heroin at the Banderdewa check gate.
The police also arrested two individuals for their alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade, a senior officer said on Tuesday.
Acting on intelligence inputs, a police team led by ASI S K Tiwari, along with ASI S K Jha, head constables T Bomdom and P Guna, and other personnel from 138 Bn CRPF conducted a naka check at the Banderdewa check gate on Monday.
