Arunachal: 'Statue of Strength' to grace Parashuram Kund by year-end

Itanagar, Aug. 14 -- Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein has unveiled the name of the under-construction 51-feet statue of Lord Parashuram at the Parashuram Kund in Lohit district, to be called the 'Statue of Strength', symbolising heritage, resilience, and unity.

The project, being developed through the collective efforts of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Vipra Foundation, and local communities, is slated for a grand inauguration by November-December this year, with hopes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi gracing the occasion.
