Chandigarh, Feb. 25 -- Punjab Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Aruna Chaudhary on Tuesday handed over an appointed letter to Lakhvish Singh, brother of Pulwama terror attack martyr Maninder Singh Attri here at Punjab Civil Secretariat Chandigarh.
Ms Chaudhary has fulfilled her promise, which she has made few days back, that CRPF Constable Lakhvish Singh would be appointed on the same rank in Punjab Police and he will soon get appointment letter.
The Minister reiterated the Punjab government is committed to accord top priority to the welfare of the families of the martyrs, who made supreme sacrifice while guarding the country's borders in line of their duty and fighting the terrorism in various parts of the country. Sh...
