Lucknow, Feb. 12 -- The issue of Artificial Intelligence (AI) resonated in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly today, with members expressing serious concern over its misuse.
To this, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna assured of action after discussing the matter with legal experts.
Raised the issue under Rule 300 in the House during Zero Hour, Samajwadi Party (SP) member Atul Pradhan demanded that the government take action.
He said that AI could prove to be a dangerous technology, potentially subject to misuse. Sharing his experience, he said that some people from an agency came to him and claimed that they could deliver his speech to the public by imitating his voice and face without his presence.
