Bangkok, Jan. 11 -- Multiple petrol stations in Thailand's southern border provinces were hit by arson attacks and explosions late Saturday night, leaving one police officer injured, Thai military sources said on Sunday.
The Internal Security Operations Command Region 4 Forward Command said in a statement posted on its social media accounts that the attacks targeted 11 petrol stations across Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat provinces, causing extensive property damage.
Preliminary reports said a police officer from the Ra-ngae Police Station in Narathiwat Province was injured. No fatalities have been reported so far.
