Shillong, July 23 -- The Border Security Force (BSF), Meghalaya Frontier today refuted the claim made by eight Bangladeshi infiltrators that they had entered into India through the international border in Meghalaya.
The Government Railway Police (GRP) on Tuesday detained eight Bangladeshi intruders at New Bongaigaon Railway Station in Assam as they were planning to board a train to Chennai.
The eight detainees identified as - Babu Sheikh, Ashfaqul Haque, Alamin Ali, Mamun Sheikh, Mohammad Ali, Ruhul Amin, Musharraf Ali, and Asharul Haque- are from Bangladesh's Jamalpur district.
