Ayodhya, Oct. 30 -- The 42-km-long 14 Kosi Parikrama is underway in Ayodhya with around one million devotees braving heavy rains thronging the city amid religious fervour and enthusiasm.
Even after bad weather conditions and heavy rains, the devotees are seen covering themselves with polythene, sacks, and tarpaulins, and marching barefoot amid chants of 'Jai Shri Ram'.
Occasionally, they apply the mud from the path to their foreheads and seek blessings with folded hands.
According to the administration, around one million devotees have been performing the parikrama since early this morning after bathing in the Saryu.
Eyewitnesses say it's been raining heavily, leaving some parts of the route waterlogged and muddy.
