Srinagar, Feb. 22 -- In his first visit after taking over as General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Northern Command,Lt General M V Suchindra Kumar on Thursday visited forward posts of Kashmir valley to review operational preparedness.
Lt Gen Kumar took over as the GOC-in-C, Northern Command of the Indian army on Monday.
The Army Commander on Thursday visited forward posts in Kupwara district of north Kashmir and reviewed the operational preparedness.
He was accompanied by Srinagar based Army Chinar Corps Commander and GOC Vajra Division
