Jammu, July 6 -- An army jawan died in an accidental fire in Dharamsal area of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police here today said that the soldier was on duty in his unit in Dharamsal when his service rifle accidentally went off.
He was rushed to the hospital but he succumbed to injuries, said police.
"We have registered a case and started the investigation," police added.
