Amethi, Nov. 22 -- Three friends, including an Army soldier, were killed when their speeding Bullet motorcycle crashed into a stationary DCM truck near Thoura village in the Peeparpur police station area, police said on Saturday.
The victims identified as Utkarsh Singh (32), an Army jawan from Maharajpur; Bajrang Singh (25); and Anshu Singh (29), were returning home after attending a wedding function in Haripur village.
Around midnight on Friday, as they approached Thoura village, their motorcycle, reportedly traveling at nearly 100 kmph, rammed into a DCM parked on the roadside.
