New Delhi, Oct. 14 -- Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi today called for a more unified and agile global approach to peacekeeping, emphasising that the international security landscape is facing challenges of "unprecedented scale and complexity."Addressing the United Nations Troop Contributing Countries' (UNTCC) Chiefs' Conclave here, General Dwivedi stated that the world today stands at a critical inflection point, with over 56 active conflicts and the involvement of nearly 90 nations.
"The infusion of disruptive technologies, the growing influence of non-state actors, hybrid warfare, and the scourge of disinformation have blurred the traditional boundaries of conflict," the Army chief said.
