Srinagar, Aug. 13 -- Ahead of Independence Day, security forces recovered large quantities of war-like stores from Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Army said a joint search operation was launched with J&K Police in general area Alachizab in Gulgam forest, Kupwara which resulted in recovery of a pistol, explosives, ammunition and
grenades.
"Based on specific input, a joint search operation was launched by #IndianArmy & @JmuKmrPolice in general area Alachizab in Gulgam Forest, Kupwara which resulted in recovery of large quantity of war like stores including one Pistol, explosives, ammunition and grenades," Army's Srinagar based Chinar Corps said on X.
