Chandigarh, April 6 -- A brazen daylight robbery occurred at a Punjab National Bank (PNB) branch in Jalandhar on Monday, where two armed assailants looted a significant amount of cash at gunpoint.
The incident took place around 2:30 pm at the Bank Enclave branch located near Kukki Dhab. While bank officials are currently auditing the accounts to determine the exact amount stolen, the daring heist has triggered an immediate high-level police investigation in the city.
