Chandigarh, Feb. 23 -- Tension gripped Bhamrola village in Haryana's Palwal district on Sunday after a group of nearly 25 armed miscreants stormed a house, opened fire, and attempted to abduct a young woman, local and police sources said.
The attackers, who reportedly arrived on 20 motorcycles and in a car, unleashed a wave of terror, leaving the local community in shock, police said.
According to Suresh Kumar, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Bahin police station, the incident occurred around 2pm. The complainant, Sarjeet, stated that the attackers hailed from Gahalab village and arrived in a blue Baleno car and several bikes. The mob was reportedly armed with country-made pistols, swords, axes, and iron rods.
