Shimla, Jan. 12 -- A devastating fire broke out in Arki Bazaar about 38 km from the capital Shimla in the early hours of Monday has claimed the life of an eight-year-old child and left several people injured, while causing extensive damage to shops and residential structures. The district administration has ordered speedy completion of relief and rescue operations and announced immediate assistance to the affected families.
The Deputy Commissioner confirmed the tragic death of eight-year-old Priyansh in the incident and said immediate assistance has been provided to the bereaved family.
