Mumbai, March 20 -- Arjun Rampal has been roped in for Rishab Shetty's ambitious historical magnum opus, "The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj", where he will essay one of the primary antagonists, adding considerable dramatic intensity to the narrative.
The film, directed by Sandeep Singh, will also feature Shefali Shah as Rajmata Jijabai, the formidable mother of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Production is expected to commence in the latter. The project is slated to begin production in the second half of the year, reports Variety India.
