Buenos Aires, Feb. 16 -- Argentine opposition insists on impeaching the country's president, Javier Milei, after his publication on cryptocurrency, the Union for the Homeland party said.
"Milei's participation in a crime related to cryptocurrency fraud is extremely serious. This is an unprecedented scandal," the party said in a statement.
"The bloc of parliamentarians decided to submit a proposal to impeach the president," it said on X.
Earlier, Milei published on X information about one of the cryptocurrencies, which led to an increase in its price, which later fell. The publication provoked criticism of the president, since many decided to invest in the currency and lost money.
