Jaipur, Dec. 25 -- : The Centre's assurance for protecting the Aravallis by imposing a complete ban on issuance of mining leases and expanding protected zone, proved to be ineffective in bringing an end to the verbal duel between Rajasthan Chief Minister BhajanLal Sharma and predecessor Ashok Gehlot.
The Congress leader also took exception to the Sharma led BJP government's action of grants of new leases for mines in Rajasthan in November last month terming them violations of the SC directives.
