Guwahati, March 6 -- In a landmark initiative for women's empowerment, APRINS, a prominent NGO dedicated to agricultural and social development, has partnered with the Department of Mass Communication, Journalism and Media Studies at Cotton University to host 'Agnishika: Flames of Fire' on March 8 at THE Sudmersen Hall of Cotton University here.
The event marks International Women's Day with a focus on creating tangible social change through education, skill-building, and advocacy. A key feature of the Agnishika initiative is a large-scale petition campaign calling for improved public safety measures for women.
