New Delhi, July 8 -- AI top executive Ruoming Pang has departed Apple and set to join Meta. It's a big jolt to Apple as Ruoming Pang was leading Apple's foundation model teams and was also the acting boss of a team consisting of 100 members.
Ruoming Pang is a distinguished engineer who has extensive experience in both research and engineering. He was previously working at Alphabet and joined Apple in 2021. Pang was overseeing a major part of Apple's intelligence functions. Reportedly, he was the brain behind the feature of "Apple Intelligence" which was integrated across its multiple devices.
