Mysuru, Oct. 17 -- Apple invested in Karnataka, not Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said today, claiming Bengaluru's IT supremacy amid rising competition between the two states to attract technology giants.
"Apple invested here, not in Andhra Pradesh," Siddaramaiah told reporters here. These remarks came as Google plans a $15 billion AI and data centre in Visakhapatnam. He emphasised that Karnataka's IT growth is built on talent, innovation, and policy stability rather than massive incentives.
