Srinagar, May 3 -- A civil society group has appealed to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir to issue public awareness messages under the Nasha Mukt JK Abhiyaan in the Kashmiri language.

The appeal, addressed to the Lieutenant Governor by the Society for Art and Literature, urged the administration to include Kashmiri in its outreach efforts, noting that no advertisements or public awareness material under the initiative have so far appeared in the local language in newspapers.
