Bengaluru, May 15 -- The Azim Premji Foundation (APF) on Thursday announced the launch of the Azim Premji Scholarship, a major initiative aimed at supporting up to 2.5 lakh girl students pursuing higher education across 18 states in the academic year 2025-26. The scholarship will be open to girls who have completed their Class 10 and 12 education in government schools and secured admission in recognised higher education institutions, government or select private colleges, offering degree or diploma programmes. The Foundation will provide Rs 30,000 per year to each eligible student for the duration of her course, with the amount disbursed in two instalments annually to the student's bank account.
