Itanagar, July 31 -- Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Bosiram Siram, accompanied by AICC general secretary and incharge of Arunachal Pradesh, Dr A Chellakumar, today called on the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, at his residence at 10 Janpath, New Delhi.
During the meeting, Siram raised several pressing constitutional, developmental, and socio-environmental issues concerning Arunachal Pradesh.
The APCC chief highlighted the need to amend Article 371(H) of the Statehood Act to bring it at par with Articles 371(A) and 371(G), applicable to Nagaland and Mizoram, respectively.
