Dimapur, Sept. 16 -- The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) today reminded all schools under it about the mandatory implementation of the APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry ID) as the primary student identifier for every student.

The board said the schools must ensure that every enrolled student is assigned a valid APAAR ID through the official UDISE-enabled portal.

It said all student data, including academic records, transfers, assessments and co-curricular information must be mapped to the APAAR ID, adding compliance must be completed prior to the commencement of final term registrations for the academic session 2025-2026.
