Vijayawada, Oct. 25 -- Alleging that a few medical procedures conducted under the Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva scheme in state-run hospitals are being undermined, YSRCP Doctors cell Chairman Dr. Ambati Naga Radhakrishna Yadav today demanded the Government declare a health emergency to tackle the situation efficiently.
Talking to the media here, he said under the guise of introducing a new "universal health insurance scheme," the Naidu-headed state government has deliberately weakened Aarogyasri, a life-support programme for millions of poor and middle-class families.
